Dr. Alireza Hosseini is a multi-lingual, board-certified endocrinologist and internal medicine physician associated with Hoag Medical Group in Cerritos, California. Dr. Hosseini’s impressive academic journey began at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences in Iran, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from 1993 to 2000. Following this, he moved to the United States to broaden his knowledge and practical skills. Between 2006 and 2008, he completed a Master of Science in Genetics and Bioinformatics at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Hosseini further specialized in his field by completing a challenging fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplant at St. Francis Hospital/University of Connecticut/CHF Program in Hartford, Connecticut, from 2011 to 2012. Following this, he entered residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, which he successfully completed in 2015.
From 2017 to 2019, Dr. Hosseini further honed his expertise in endocrinology at the Harbor-UCLA/City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, California. This rigorous fellowship training enabled him to deepen his understanding and enhance his abilities in managing complex endocrine disorders.
