ESIR 2023 — Thyroid thermal ablation

Thyroid thermal ablation, Milan/IT, October 5-6, 2023

As more and more evidence emerges in favour of its efficacy, the demand for thyroid thermal ablation of benign thyroid nodules has increased in recent years. In spite of this, very few centres in Europe currently provide such treatments. To help ensure that physicians are able to educate themselves on this topic, local host, Giovanni Mauri, has organized an ESIR course focusing on thyroid thermal ablation.

Physicians taking part in this course will learn about current indications for treatment and different methods of thyroid ablation including that of laser, radiofrequency and microwave, and gain insight into the pertinent literature on this topic. Also included in the course: are three case presentations showing how to manage laser, radiofrequency and microwave ablation.

Who should attend?

Organised and led by renowned experts, this ESIR course on thyroid ablation gives experienced physicians the opportunity to fine-tune their practical skills and learn more about current treatment options for this difficult disease.
