Course Description:
In today’s world, having a strong online presence is becoming increasingly important, even for doctors. That’s why the 2nd International Meeting on Ultrasound-Guided Minimally Invasive Therapies is excited to present “Should Doctors Use Social Media?” by Philip Beere, Creative Director at RFAMD.
Topics covered will include social media strategy, content creation, community management, social listening, and analytics.
The session will also examine the ethical considerations surrounding healthcare marketing on social media, including patient privacy, informed consent, and potential legal issues.
As of 2022, 62% of people use online searches as their first step in finding a healthcare provider. Additionally, 59% of people consider patient reviews as the most critical factor when selecting a provider. It’s clear that having a website and a strong social media presence is crucial for doctors to stand out in the digital age.
